IT Security Consultant (Vulnerability Management)

What will you do?
Your work will
include
- design, configuration and implementation of IT vulnerability management solutions at customer sites
- analysis, description and assessment of current threats from hackers and malware
- source code investigations for malware, cross-site scripting gaps and SQL injections
- derivation of recommendations for current threats or security gaps as well as tool-supported vulnerability analysis
- development of practical defense measures against threats
- technical cooperation in national and international IT security projects
- processing and documentation of security incidents using standard industry methods
- confident presentation of concepts, solutions in situations with customer and negotiation situations
What do we expect
from you?
- Bachelor’s degree or completed vocational training with adequate professional experience
- at least three years of professional experience, including at least one year in IT security projects with a focus on vulnerability management, penetration testing, ethical hacking, etc.
- advanced knowledge of network analysis and vulnerability scan tools such as Tenable Nessus, as well as Palo Alto PRISMA
- advanced knowledge of common scripting and programming languages (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.), common tools such as: Burp Suite, metasploit, network analysis tools (Wireshark NMAP) and good knowledge of IT forensic software and procedures
- good knowledge of Linux
- good customer-oriented thinking and acting as well as convincing and binding appearance
- good presentation and moderation skills
- strong ability to present complex issues in writing
- high level of cooperation, teamwork and conflict management skills
- high degree of flexibility, ability to work under pressure and willingness to perform
- good command of written and spoken English
